Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue# 11

By now, you’ve likely read or heard Doodle Bugs! mission statement: “building a community of happy children, happy parents and happy teachers.” More than just a catchy phrase, our mission genuinely guides our work – influencing decisions about curriculum, events, facilities, hiring, policies, everything! It’s especially interesting, though, to see how that mission statement influences the day-to-day, hustle & bustle of the centers.

As a teacher, when your primary goal is happy children, the resulting ‘happy parents’ happens organically — and vice versa!  Teachers who love to teach and are genuinely happy to be part of the doodle team create an environment where children feel safe & love to learn. Those happy children love to come to school. In turn, their parents are genuinely happy to part of the doodle community, and build wonderful relationships with their teachers. Those relationships make teachers feel valued and appreciated, and so on — it’s really a delightful cycle!

Today’s edition of Team Tuesday celebrates a terrific example of that cycle; in particular, we recognize and applaud those happy relationships:

Team Tuesday: Miss Shelly & Miss Nicole (Lancaster Center)

Thank you, Shelly & Nicole, for your genuine efforts to build a community of happy children, happy parents and happy teachers. It’s certainly true that, as a team, we show we CARE.
